Re: Enlightenment

Wow! Spam!

And such an appropriate product for Zork geeks - a 1950's wedding dress. I'm sure we'll all be rushing over to that web site to buy one.

Re: Enlightenment

Okay, I played it. Very good game. Some of the puzzles were challenging, but not too bad. I forgot to look at the footnotes the first time through (forgot that you could read them by typing "footnote"). Quickly went through the game again and only got 3 footnotes. I thought there were more...

Re: Beyond Zork endgame help please?

I think the key is starting at the right entrance - I remember being stuck there for a while because I was starting at the wrong end of the cave system.

Re: Can people please join my FB group petition

Funny - I just went to sign the petition and found that I had already signed it. In fact, I was the 4th person to sign it. LOL!

Re: Enlightenment

Sounds good. I'll try it. Haven't played an IF game in a long time - other than a particular beta.

Re: Zork Abandonware

It must be pretty recent that all of the Infocom games were released. Not too long ago, Underdogs didn't have any of them except the ones specifically released by Activision (zork 1, 2, 3, ztuu).

Anyway, it's good news!

Re: The Riddle Game

I know the answer to that one too. Just to move things along, here is the answer: Ask the man: If I were to ask someone from the town that you are NOT from which road leads to truth town, what would he tell me? Then take the other road. Here's a new riddle: Runs over fields and woods all day Under t...

Re: Dungeon

I played it way back when that was all that was available. I played it on a mainframe at work and never finished it - I got stuck and couldn't go on. I had played Adventure and solved it, and found Dungeon even better, although I couldn't solve it. I still have the maps I made back then. :-D Years a...

Re: The Riddle Game

Why is a supermarket like the alphabet?

Because they are both full of characters?

They both contain "food"?

Neither of them will be elected president?

They both contain ingredients?

Re: The Riddle Game

Um, DataAngel - it should be "female dog" not "pregnant dog". Any female dog is a b-itch, not just pregnant ones.  ;)

And I guess that isn't what your last word was, Nemesis.
