DOOM was an ID franchise name, like wolfenstein or quake, they'll always make those games. Its a popular name and everyones played them, so they know the name will sell. With Zork its WAY different. Either freeware or we get the license im not willing to do any half n half crap with ANY corporation....

Theres a point when after so many years ANY game becomes freeware, I don't recall but I think it was 10 years or something. In any case I wouldn't worry about d/ling ANY text games. They are way to old and chances are they wouldn't even bother to try and sue you.
