There is a bit about Brogmoids in one of Dalboz's books in the DM's lair. There is a entry on Brogmoids in general in the Encyclopedia Frobozzica, and good amount on them in the Z: GI backstory I transcribed.
Brogmoids come in both hairy and non-hairy versions.

Re: The Hidden Evil?
I, for one, greatly prefer the look of the early Myst-style games to the 3D stuff. IMO, Riven is much prettier than the newest Myst games. Text is great too. Or perhaps mostly text with some pivitol scenes with graphics? I know I care more about a nice story and good puzzles than about fancy graph...

Re: Grand Inquisitor backstory transcription
I'm glad you all found it interesting/useful! Here is the 6 page chapter on the magic in Z:GI and the characters' magical associations. http://www.livejournal.com/users/siriusstar/45943.html It seems that there was more interaction planned with the totems then ended up in the game itself; perhaps ev...

Re: Finally! A new Zork game. TAP is here.
I think it took me about 12-14 hours in all. About the same as it took me for Infocom’s Border Zone, but less than the original Zork family, except probably Wishbringer. (I'm a bit faster now, though.) I found the puzzles of a nice difficulty, maybe on a level with Beyond Zork, although more simil...

Re: Finally! A new Zork game. TAP is here.
I just finished it tonight. I don't want to post any spoilers, but I found it a lot of fun to play. I found the puzzles thoughtful, but quite logical and I never got overly frustrated for long. (except one thing that I gave up on, only to find out there was nothing to do there anyway.) I LOVED the ...

Grand Inquisitor backstory transcription
I have transcribed the full 17 page, 8,518 word Z:GI backstory from the strategy guide. For now it's up on my Livejournal as I don't have a website. It can be found here; http://www.livejournal.com/users/siriusstar/44971.html If there's any interest (and no one tells me it isn't allowed) I'll transc...

Re: ZGI artwork
Here are a couple links I have come across. There doesn't seem to be much out there, unfortunately. http://www.gamespot.com/features/ddiary/zork/032697/032697.html http://www.cdmag.com/adventure_vault/zork_grand_inquisitor_preview/shot1.html I recently bought the strategy guide on eBay. If you keep ...

I could do that. I have a saved game right in the Spell Lab.
Do you want the spell book pages too? Any particular format

Re: Best Zork game...
I chose one of the text adventures. If the Enchanter trilogy were included I'd choose Enchanter for it's wonderful playability and engaging story. And Spellbreaker, although the ending is way too weak for all that effort! Beyond Zork is my second most replayed of the text games. I just love the at...

Re: Upcoming Interview?
It makes no sense on their part to shut down people who are only helping them. If they want to monitor the activity to be sure no one is selling Zork games, or pretending to be authorized, I can understand that. I write fanfic partially in the Harry Potter universe. JK Rowling and her lawyers allow ...

A silly question...
Hello, Does anyone know what font it is that's used for Dalboz's diary? I've tried the big font search engines and come up with nothing remotely similar. I know it's probably a hopeless question, but I had to try. I'm writing a dual universe fanfic and I'd like to use the font for Dalboz's letters w...
