I would have liked to have filled in all of the options because all of the Zork games maintianed such a high standard of quality it is impossible to choose. I voted for Nemesis, but I REALLY loved the Enchanter series of text adventures. Return to Zork and Grand Inquisitor were truest to the origin...

Technically, this isn't really the answer to your question, but it is close. The original Zork games were written in a language developed by Infocom called ZIL. I think. Anyway, that language, when compiled produced smething called Z-code which could be run on a Z-Machine interpreter. But I don't...

I never thought of Nemesis as not having an inventory. Small and limited though it is. But it is possible to 'hold' multiple items, and right click on the cursor to toggle through the inventory.
