Just to keep Activision happy with us (because I'm almost sure that this place has just slightly more advocates against game downloading than your average emulation site), I'll state this again:

It's not legal to download Infocom games unless you own the originals with a few exceptions such as:
-The Zork Trilogy (released as Freeware by Activision when ZNem was released)
-Zork: The Undiscovered Underground (Made as Freeware by Activision when ZGI was released)
-The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy (Douglas Adams repurchased the rights to it and pretty much made it Freeware).

There are a few other exceptions, but those are the best.

Anyway, with that disclaimer outta the way, go ahead and download if you haven't already.

Theres a point when after so many years ANY game becomes freeware, I don't recall but I think it was 10 years or something. In any case I wouldn't worry about d/ling ANY text games. They are way to old and chances are they wouldn't even bother to try and sue you.

I agree with DAT about that, but I think games become freeware are 15-20 years. It might depend on what the company originally decides. But no one's going to care about pirating text games. They're too old.

The full version of what? ZTUU? If so, then there wasn't a full version. If there is, then someone's been hiding something.

At the candy bar puzzle it says it's a demo. Has anybody completed ZTUU?
