Zork Nemesis Music/Soundtrack

Post by Cygnus »

Does anyone know who the composer of the music of Zork Nemesis.  I'd like to find out if he/she has done anything more in games or has a solo career.

Thanks!

Hey Cygnus, nice to have you here. The composer is probably in the credits and I would tell you, but I let someone borrow my game. Just load a game near the end and look through the credits.

Excellent!!! Mark Morgan...That's him.  It seems that he's been quite busy with music as of late.  His latest credit is Age of Mythology.
Here's a link to his other game credits...

Pretty cool!  It doesn't look as though he has a solo career, though.   I'd really like to see some newage cd's or something.  The guy could definitely do it.

Thanks for finding out his name, nitek1982!

I used a program called Total Recorder to record all the music from Zork Nemesis, as I played through the game.  I would find an area where there were no sound effects that would pollute the music, and stand there.  The music runs in loops, so I just began recording (as a .wav) started the game, loaded my save to the certain spots, and I had the music!! :)  I burned it to cd, and made mp3's.  It's STILL one of my favorite soundtracks to listen to while i'm drifting off to sleep.  I went to www.imdb.com and put in zork nemesis, and BAM...the music credit is right there...Mark Morgan is the composer.

Happy Zorking!!! - I love this game
