Yoruk heard our prayers! New Zork game by Activision!!!
It is a browser based game, I have played it for ONLY an hour but I'm already LOVING IT! Activision describes it as a PBB CMMORPG ("Persistent Browser Based Casual Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game" which means in some cases you will need to fight other players. So far I'm fight...

Detailed Instructions to run RTZ in XP with DOSBOX
When The Zork Library was down months ago, I though it may never come back :(. So I had created a forum for help with Zork. Back then I was stuck on how to get RTZ to run WITH soundtrack music and all of the normal commands it was supposed to run with. I did not quite find what I was looking for, ...

Re: Zork Nemesis - too speedy!
Speed Gear didn't work for me, however I found a great program called
CPU Killer 3 http://www.cpukiller.com/
that did the trick by overpowering the CPU by 90%.

Re: Zork Nemesis - too speedy!
No not at all, its way too fast. I am running at 1.5 Ghz. However I found a utility in download.com called Speed Gear 5.0, will give it a try, its supposed to help slowdown games and certain programs, will let you know how it works for me. Thanks!

Re: ZGI and nemesis problems under XP.
I try to download the subtitles patch from the Zork Library and the download never finishes the way it should, it either stops halfway or before reaching any significant percentage, no warning, when I try to open the file it just says the file has a bad format, anywhere else I can download it from?

Re: RTZ: Dwarven Mines & DosBox
Does RTZ run with the digital music in DOSBOX? The inferno RTZ walkthrough worked great for me but I miss the digital music. I tried setting DVMS sound to play the soundtrack but the music is off time, or it will jump, or skip, making the game sound totally ridiculous because it may start before o...

Re: ZGI and nemesis problems under XP.
Wow, thanks for this, I have played Nemesis on my Mac for a while now (and passed it a while ago) and was ready to install it in our Windows XP laptop (bought the Win vers) and had no idea the problems we might run into. With this I bet we will do just fine

Zork Music
Hello, does anybody know who is the composer/performer of Zork Nemesis music? It sounds like either Steve Roach or Tangerine Dream... I got the used game CDs in a jewel case so I don't have any way to tell, I appreciate it, thanks!

Re: RTZ last act
Siriusstar, The list you posted shows coins and coin. Â I only have coins. Â But I haven't heard anyone else mention 'coin' either. Â Also, I had a rusty metal thing and a rag whereas most people seem to have a shiny metal thing and no rag. I guess I could try shining my rusty metal thing up, but I...

Re: RTZ last act
The very same problem happened to me once, it happened to be the first time I played it so it was very frustrating for me. First, if you either eat the carrots or feed them to the cow, there are carrots for you to pick there later, same happens if you go back after you throw them to the bridge. I ...
