Re: Transcribing Zork

If you simply want to record what you type, there are keyloggers that will do that for you. There are also versions that will grab the info on the screen in realtime. I don't know what is available for the Mac, though.

Another Zorkmid on eBay!

Only 10 hours left in this auction, and the coin is already up to $96!!! This one isn't in its original plastic wrapper, which is missing, so this is proof that the packaging/game don't matter at all, just the coin. This should encourage people to go out and search flea markets or yard sales for thi...

Another zorkmid sold on eBay. Price keeps rising!

The latest zorkmid coin sold on eBay went for a whopping $105, compared to the usual $50-$60 for previous ones. Quite a return from metal that only costs about 40 cents per pound (the coin weighs far less than a pound).

Re: Hey everyone...!

I started off with Wishbringer back in middle school when we were supposed to be learning keyboarding.  Then when we got our first computer, my friend lent me all of his games including Return to Zork, some sorta Monty Python game, and a really boring Dennis Miller "list of spoken jokes". ...

Activision to re-release Infocom classics soon...

I just noticed at Infocom-IF.org the following information posted by Ken Love from Activision: "Hey Gang! Keep your eyes peeled. The Infocom Classic are all going to be re-released shortly. I'm actually in the process of upgrading / dating the first batch. I promise that I'll try and do these c...

Re: ZGI and nemesis problems under XP.

You could set up another partition and load Windows 95 or 98 on it, then you could play any of them, hopefully.

Re: Adventures in Zork

Please be patient.  The Zork Library is the most "active" zork-related place on the internet; it'll take some time for your site to get even infrequent users. I've added a link to your forum in the Wikipedia entry for Zork, which should increase traffic.  How does your forum work? Also, i...

They forgot to add to their timeline the date when they "accidentally" dropped the license to Zork in the paper shredder.

Re: A Real Computer!

Yeah, that happens to me a lot, and since I haven't gotten any new games in a long time (since halflife?), it'll probably just keep coming back.  For me, it's the old zork games, the myst games, mission critical, halflife and mods (CS, TFC), Quake2 CTF and Rail Arena (my most recent endeavor)... I r...

Pages on Wikipedia

The whole Encyclopedia Frobozzica on Wikipedia never worked out (I had it all formatted and everything :( ), but in place of that I've added content to and put up pages on subjects such as: Zork (main page, with links to numerous Zork sites such as this one) Zork Timeline (Timeline of events in the ...
