Re: Anyone here?

I'm still around, but don't have the time to maintain everything that I used to. The subreddit at https://www.reddit.com/r/zork has most of the Zork discussion these days. Lord Skylark sent me some final updates to the Zork Compendium and I finished uploading them today. Now that I have a little tim...

Forum Changes 2017

There's been some board maintenance to keep things running smoothly. I've upgraded the PHP version, PHPBB version and incorporated the latest version of all our spam protection extensions. This will help keep your experience here safe, secure and fast!

Re: New Zork Remake in Development

This looks so cool. Great work! I'm having trouble getting it running in Wine on Linux, but I'll try again another time. Is it possible to release a Linux version? I mainly use Linux and I'm involved in some Linux groups that would probably love to try this game, but would prefer a version built for...

Re: Panning Problems Solved for Zork Games on PC

Pan Relief isn't really recommended anymore. It was a workaround before we had better options to run Zork Nemesis. I recommend using ScummVM. See our installation guide for using it at https://www.thezorklibrary.com/installg ... ummvm.html

I agree. It's the latter. You can learn more about the world of Zork in the Zork Compendium.

Re: zork 1 with graphics

There was a version of Zork I released for Sega Saturn in Japan that has some basic background graphics. It's not a graphical adventure, but instead a text adventure with some graphics.

Forum Changes 2015

As you've probably noticed, the forum looks a bit different. That's because we've upgraded to the latest version of the phpBB forum, for security reasons. Unfortunately, our old Zork-themed board style isn't compatible with this new version. I've installed a dark theme instead. If it becomes possibl...

Re: Zork 3D Remake, (Need to know if is a good idea) PLZ Sup

I'd love to see/hear more as the game develops and would be happy to test any builds of the game as it is developed. Since Unreal Engine is now cross-platform, please consider making builds for Mac OS X and Linux since a number of this website's users use those operating systems. Good luck with your...
