Well, if your like me and have no sense of direction when it comes to text only, then id say just use the maps otherwise you'll spend a large amount of time drawing them ANYWAYS. The maps for the games can be found on the main site where the game info resides.

The game is from 1996 and was built to run on windows 95. Try compatibility modes for older windows versions. Also I recommend you run DX9. Depending on how bad you want to play it, you might want to try installing DX8 or DX that comes on the install CD, worst case you can reinstall DX9. Additionall...

This most likely means that your soundcard is not soundblaster compatible... You can use VDMSound to emulate for audio on newer systems that require older soundcards such as the Soundblaster 16 or Pro or AWE32.
