I have both versions but the videos are the same thing. How did you play them with MPlayer?

Re: -NO FILTERS COULD BE FOUND- oh man...
which mdk10 have you installed dvd or cd?
with mplayer i just set mplayer to appear on the open with menu when you right click on the file. then when i open the files using the open with menu mplayer always detects the codec to use. but you might not have installed all the codec packages or if you have the cd version not all the packages maybe available. try downloading them from the mplayer web site.

To play something with mplayer, it's just "mplayer " Really complicated.

I was being sarcastic, the command-line version is simple. I can't get the GUI to work, and since what I have works and is easy to understand, I don't really care.
Re: -NO FILTERS COULD BE FOUND- oh man...
using the bash prompt is difficult?!?!? thats all I use when I use linux the GUI is too friggin slow lol.

i use gui and command line as some tasks are quicker using gui and others command line
but the gui shouldnt be slow anymore if you use kernel 2.6.3 and kde 3.2

Don't use KDE, major resource hog. Use a lightweight window-manager like fluxbox and do all your work in a terminal. Easy.
So can you get it to work from a terminal?

I found a program that allows you to watch all the Truemotion v1 videos from both ZGI and Nemesis for windows its called TMPlayer search for it on google you'll find it easily its all in japanese but is fairly easy to figure out how to use it doesnt allow decoding but then if you want that you need to ask DuckCo for their dcoder that needs a licience
