THE MERCENARY (THE HEAVY)

The Mercenary was an unknown heavy for hire during the Great Monster Uprising. He costed his employer a percentage of their daily loot, but he made up for it by taking the brunt of attacks from their enemies. Adventurers who journeyed with the Mercenary as his side, found that they received less attacks with him around. He could carry quite a large sack of zorkmids but was not too smart and was of little help with searching for treasure or solving puzzles.
