The cyclops Polyphemus, son of Poseidon, had a son of his own named Walter M. Smith. After being blinded and teased by Odysseus, this cyclops called upon his father Poseidon to curse Odysseus. Even so, the mere mention of this cyclops-blinder instills fear into the most dauntless and ferocious of all cyclops.
